PERFORMANCE TEST REPORT
for
Regular/Premium
Valve Caps |
| I. |
The regular quality test of the Accu-Pressure valve caps, as
brief as follows:
Purpose: Observe for air leakage or inaction.
- Destruction Test: After Accu-Pressure caps are locked and
fixed on the test momentary inflation from 0 PSI to 70 PSI shall be
performed. The action of this shall be executed.
- Functional Test: After Accu-Pressure caps are locked and
fixed on the tes rod, momentary inflation from 0 to the specified
pressure of the product (26 PSI - 40 PSI) shall be executed.
- Air-Tightness Test: Apply foam or soapy water on the
entire gauge cap.
- Appearance Check: We reject products that are damaged and
assembled in disorder.
- Sampling Test: The sampling rate for the above four items
shall achieve 99.75% accuracy rate.
** The sampling ratio - 25:1
** Standard - Maximum 0.4% failure rate allowed.

- Design and Physical Characteristics:
The tire safety gauge is found to protrude pass the sidewall of the
tire on some designs.
- Salt Fog Corrosion Test (ASTM B117-85):
The specimen was subjected to a 72-hour salt spray exposure in
accordance with ASTM B117-97. The specimen was evaluated every 24
hours.
- High Temperature Test:
The product in reference consists of highly insulated elements for
the petrochemical heat generated in the tire during high-speed
driving (40° C - 65° C) at the safety rate of 99.81%.
- Low Temperature Test:
When used under 45° C, the product delivers the same performance as
under normal temperature and environment at the safety rate of:
45° C: 97.28% and 30° C: 99.81%
- Road Test:
Bumps: No effect
Others such as dirt: No effect
Water: 4 tiny drops of water on viewing dome after 2 hours under
water.
